8th Investor Summit Brings Global and Local Investors to NIC Hyderabad

Published on

Connecting people and creating opportunities remained the throughline across NIC Hyderabad’s 8th Investor Summit, which brought together a notably diverse mix of investors from across Pakistan and abroad to meet founders and explore what comes next for the region’s startup ecosystem. Nyrix joined the summit as part of this gathering, with organisers describing the event as bringing together investors and founders to explore new possibilities, reflecting the summit’s broader intent of facilitating direct engagement rather than passive networking alone.

Disrupt.com also joined the summit, framed around the idea that the right conversations can shape the future, with the investor meeting founders, learning about emerging startups, and identifying ideas with the potential to make a meaningful impact. Sturgeon Capital was welcomed to the summit as part of efforts to support the next wave of startups, given the opportunity to meet founders, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections within Hyderabad’s entrepreneurial community.

The UK-Pakistan Tech Forum, known as UPTECH, engaged with founders at the summit and explored innovative startups as part of its broader mission to strengthen Pakistan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, bringing a cross-border dimension to the summit’s investor lineup given the forum’s specific focus on connecting UK and Pakistani technology communities. Amaana Capital was also welcomed to the summit, with organisers noting that ideas grow faster with the right support, giving the investor the opportunity to connect with promising startups through meaningful conversations with founders shaping tomorrow’s businesses.

Pak Angels joined the summit under the framing that the right investor changes everything, connecting with founders building the businesses of tomorrow, while Fatima Gobi Ventures participated with a focus on investing in vision and building the future, meeting founders solving real problems with the potential for lasting impact. SEED Ventures rounded out the investor lineup, framed around the idea that one investor can unlock countless possibilities, joining the summit to meet ambitious founders, discover game-changing ideas, and help shape the next wave of innovation coming out of the region.

Taken together, the breadth of investors participating in the 8th Investor Summit, spanning domestic angel networks, regional venture funds, and cross-border organisations like UPTECH, reflects the scale of institutional interest NIC Hyderabad has been able to attract for its founder community. The summit was supported by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ignite National Technology Fund, LMKT, PTCL, and Tech Destination Pakistan, continuing the pattern of public and private sector backing behind NIC Hyderabad’s ongoing efforts to connect its resident founders with a wide-ranging pool of potential investors and partners.
