IBA Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) recently had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation led by the US Ambassador and his team from the US Consulate. The visit was marked by enthusiastic discussions as they engaged with the founders of several notable startups associated with the center. The Ambassador, accompanied by U.S. Consul General Mr. Conrad Tribble, Public Affairs Officer Mr. Lee MacManis, and other dignitaries, took a keen interest in the innovative ventures and initiatives facilitated by IBA CED.

During the discussions, the US Ambassador commended the pivotal role played by IBA CED in providing substantial support to student startup founders throughout their academic journey. The acknowledgment underscored the significance of the center’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among the student community.

Dr. Syed Akbar Zaidi, in his role, provided an insightful overview of IBA Karachi, highlighting its academic excellence and commitment to providing a conducive environment for entrepreneurial development. Dr. Lalarukh Ejaz, the Director of IBA CED, further delved into the center’s diverse programs and initiatives, emphasizing its role in nurturing a culture of innovation.
