Launchpad Cohort 3 at NASTP Rawalpindi Opens Applications for Startups Under PITB’s Plan9 Program

Published on

Applications are now officially open for Cohort 3 of Launchpad at NASTP Rawalpindi, part of the Regional Plan9 program by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Incubation Wing. The program is designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs from Rawalpindi and surrounding areas, providing them with essential tools and resources to take their startups to the next level.

Housed at the National Aerospace Science & Technology Park (NASTP) Rawalpindi, the program is tailored for early-stage startups seeking structured guidance, infrastructure, and mentorship to refine their business ideas and accelerate growth.

Participants in this cohort will benefit from a wide range of opportunities, including free office space, legal assistance, expert mentorship, business model development, and valuable networking platforms. The initiative aims to create an enabling environment where young entrepreneurs can focus on innovation and execution without being held back by resource limitations.

According to PITB’s Incubation Wing, the Launchpad program continues to build on its mission of democratizing access to entrepreneurial opportunities across Pakistan. By expanding beyond Lahore, the Regional Plan9 initiative ensures that startups in smaller cities and regions have the same access to world-class incubation services as those in major urban hubs.

The Rawalpindi center, strategically located within NASTP, offers startups a unique environment that combines access to cutting-edge aerospace and technology research facilities with a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. This positioning is expected to create strong synergies between emerging tech startups and established industry players.

With limited slots available, PITB encourages interested startups to apply early. Applications can be submitted through the official portal at bit.ly/RP9Launchpad2025.

The Launchpad program has previously incubated dozens of promising startups that have gone on to secure funding, expand operations, and contribute significantly to Pakistan’s growing digital economy. Cohort 3 is expected to continue this tradition, bringing forward a new wave of innovative founders ready to make their mark.
