She Leads Bootcamp 2025 to Support Final-Year and Alumni Women Entrepreneurs at IoBM Karachi

Published on

The Institute of Business Management (IoBM), through its Shahjehan S. Karim Incubation Center (SSKIC), has partnered with Sindh Higher Education Commission (Sindh HEC) to launch the She Leads Women’s Founders Bootcamp. Scheduled for Thursday, October 2, 2025, at IoBM Karachi, the program is designed to equip female entrepreneurs with practical skills, mentorship, and access to networks to strengthen their entrepreneurial journeys.

The She Leads Bootcamp is part of a growing movement to foster inclusivity and encourage greater participation of women in Pakistan’s entrepreneurial landscape. While the country has witnessed a surge in startup activity, women founders continue to face barriers such as limited access to funding, mentorship, and structured incubation opportunities. The bootcamp seeks to bridge these gaps by providing targeted support tailored to women-led ventures.

To ensure broader inclusivity, the program has extended eligibility to final-year female students as well as recent alumni who are interested in pursuing entrepreneurship. Candidates can self-nominate by submitting their details through the official registration form by September 27, 2025. Selected participants will be notified by September 28, enabling them to prepare for the one-day intensive program.

The bootcamp will focus on guiding participants through the fundamentals of building and scaling startups, including idea validation, business model development, market positioning, and fundraising readiness. In addition, the program will create an environment for peer-to-peer learning and interaction with mentors, allowing participants to gain exposure to real-world entrepreneurial challenges and strategies to overcome them.

By collaborating with Sindh HEC, IoBM-SSKIC is reinforcing its role as an academic institution committed to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. The partnership highlights the importance of aligning higher education initiatives with ecosystem development, ensuring that students and graduates are empowered not only to seek employment but also to create ventures that contribute to economic growth.

Women entrepreneurs participating in She Leads will have the chance to connect with industry leaders, investors, and incubation experts who can provide valuable feedback on their business ideas. For many, it represents a rare opportunity to step into a structured program that addresses the unique challenges faced by female founders, such as balancing cultural expectations with entrepreneurial ambitions or navigating male-dominated industries.

The launch of She Leads also aligns with Pakistan’s broader vision to encourage women’s participation in the digital and entrepreneurial economy. By nurturing women-led businesses at the incubation stage, the program hopes to create ripple effects in job creation, social impact, and innovation-led growth.

Commenting on the initiative, representatives from IoBM emphasized the institution’s commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs. They noted that programs like She Leads can serve as catalysts for change, helping to normalize women’s leadership in business and enabling female founders to scale ideas that address real societal and economic needs.

As the application deadline approaches, IoBM and Sindh HEC have called on eligible women entrepreneurs from final-year cohorts and alumni networks to take advantage of this opportunity. By providing mentorship, training, and access to supportive networks, She Leads is positioned to contribute meaningfully to the empowerment of women entrepreneurs in Sindh and beyond.

Interested candidates can apply through the official registration form here: She Leads Application Form.
