PSW and TDAP Boost Women Entrepreneurs in Faisalabad with Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Program

Published on

Pakistan Single Window (PSW), in collaboration with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan’s Women Entrepreneurship Division (WED) and the Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FWCCI), successfully organized a capacity-building session under the Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Program in Faisalabad. The initiative brought together over 60 women entrepreneurs from various sectors, providing them with valuable insights into global trade practices, digital transformation, and sustainable business growth

The session focused on key areas such as cross-border trade, e-commerce opportunities, digital marketing, customs processes, access to finance, and green trade practices. Participants learned how to navigate export procedures efficiently through the PSW platform, explore online business models, and integrate sustainability into their operations. This hands-on engagement aimed to strengthen the technical and digital capabilities of women-led businesses, enabling them to compete more effectively in international markets.

By partnering with TDAP and FWCCI, PSW continues to advance its mission of promoting inclusivity in trade and empowering women entrepreneurs to expand their export potential. The collaboration highlights a shared commitment to creating equitable opportunities and building an enabling environment where women can actively participate in Pakistan’s evolving trade ecosystem.

The session also shed light on the role of innovation and technology in accelerating women’s participation in cross-border commerce. Experts and representatives from PSW, WED, and FWCCI shared actionable guidance on leveraging digital trade tools and platforms, ensuring compliance with international trade standards, and enhancing visibility in global value chains.

Through the Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Program, PSW and TDAP are contributing to a more inclusive and digitally empowered trade landscape. The initiative supports women entrepreneurs in developing the knowledge and skills needed to tap into global markets while fostering environmentally responsible practices.

Participants appreciated the opportunity to connect with trade specialists and fellow entrepreneurs, emphasizing how such programs provide the confidence and resources necessary to explore export potential. The engagement reaffirmed PSW’s dedication to bridging gender gaps in trade and enabling women-led businesses to benefit from Pakistan’s expanding digital trade infrastructure.

By nurturing an ecosystem that promotes women’s participation in the economy, PSW, TDAP, and FWCCI are paving the way for sustainable growth and inclusive economic development. The Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Program stands as a testament to how collaborative efforts between public institutions and business chambers can drive meaningful change, empowering women to become key contributors to Pakistan’s trade and economic future.
