National Incubation Center Peshawar has formalized a collaboration with Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Peshawar through a memorandum of understanding aimed at supporting women-led entrepreneurship in the region. This partnership seeks to foster opportunities for women founders, strengthen entrepreneurial networks, and create an ecosystem where female entrepreneurs can access mentorship, resources, and strategic guidance. By combining the capabilities and outreach of both institutions, the MoU reflects a commitment to cultivating an inclusive startup environment where women-led ventures can thrive and contribute meaningfully to economic growth and innovation.

The agreement emphasizes collaboration across multiple areas, including capacity building, mentorship, and market access. NIC Peshawar will leverage its existing incubation programs to provide structured support to women-led startups, while Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry will facilitate connections to industry networks, investors, and relevant stakeholders. The partnership is designed to encourage knowledge exchange, enable joint initiatives, and provide opportunities for female founders to refine their business strategies and scale their ventures. By aligning objectives and pooling resources, both organizations aim to reduce barriers that women entrepreneurs often face when entering traditionally male-dominated markets, creating a more equitable ecosystem for innovation and enterprise.

This collaboration also complements NIC Peshawar’s broader strategy to strengthen the regional startup ecosystem through strategic partnerships and ecosystem building. Through initiatives such as mentorship programs, workshops, and networking events, the center has been actively working to accelerate the growth of startups across various sectors. Women-led ventures represent a critical component of this ecosystem, bringing diverse perspectives, innovative solutions, and entrepreneurial energy. The MoU will enable NIC Peshawar to provide targeted support, including technical guidance, access to funding opportunities, and exposure to industry networks, ensuring that women entrepreneurs have the tools necessary to navigate challenges and maximize growth potential.

By formalizing this partnership, NIC Peshawar and Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Peshawar, aim to demonstrate how collaboration between public and private institutions can strengthen the startup ecosystem and drive socio-economic impact. The agreement also reinforces the role of local stakeholders, universities, and industry partners in supporting inclusive entrepreneurship, creating pathways for women to contribute to technological advancement, business development, and community growth. With both organizations working together, the initiative is poised to foster a sustainable, gender-inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem, enabling female founders to access opportunities, resources, and mentorship that support long-term success in Pakistan’s dynamic startup landscape.

This MoU represents a step forward in creating meaningful impact through collaboration, signaling a renewed focus on women-led entrepreneurship and inclusive economic development. NIC Peshawar continues to engage with a diverse set of partners including LMKR, LMKT, Orbit Startups, Accelerate Prosperity, Sybrid, IM Sciences, Rehman Medical Institute, CECOS University, and Frontier Platinum to strengthen the region’s innovation ecosystem and empower entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds to build scalable, sustainable ventures.
