NIC Karachi Acceleration Program 2026 Selects 5 Startups Including Lendverse and asani.io

Published on

Pakistan’s startup ecosystem continues to evolve as National Incubation Center Karachi announces the selection of five high-potential startups for its latest Acceleration Program, powered by Orbit Ventures. The cohort includes Fortanixor Technologies, Three Shelves, Lendverse, asani.io, and Porter Pakistan, each representing a growing segment of the country’s innovation landscape. The announcement highlights the ongoing role of structured acceleration programmes in identifying scalable ventures and equipping them with the resources required to transition from early traction to sustained growth in competitive markets.

The selected startups will now enter a phase focused on scaling with purpose, agility, and innovation, supported by a framework that combines mentorship, investor readiness, and market exposure. Participants in the programme are expected to gain hands-on guidance from global experts, allowing them to refine their business models, strengthen operational strategies, and align their offerings with market demands. In addition to mentorship, the programme places emphasis on investor readiness, preparing founders to effectively engage with potential investors and secure funding necessary for expansion. Access to real-world market validation opportunities further ensures that these startups can test and iterate their solutions in practical environments, a critical step in building sustainable and scalable businesses.

The NIC Karachi Acceleration Program operates within a broader ecosystem supported by key public and private sector stakeholders, including Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan, Ignite – National Technology Fund, and LMKT, alongside industry partners such as LuckyOne Mall. This collaborative structure reflects a growing emphasis on public-private partnerships aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s digital economy by supporting early and growth-stage startups. By combining institutional backing with private sector expertise, such programmes are designed to create an environment where innovation can thrive and translate into tangible economic impact.

As Pakistan’s startup landscape gains traction, initiatives like the NIC Karachi Acceleration Program are increasingly seen as critical enablers of long-term ecosystem development. By providing structured support, access to networks, and opportunities for validation, these programmes help bridge the gap between idea-stage ventures and market-ready businesses. The inclusion of diverse startups in the latest cohort also reflects the expanding scope of innovation across sectors, underscoring the country’s potential to produce solutions that can compete both locally and internationally while contributing to the broader narrative of Tech Destination Pakistan.
