IBA CICT Summer School Chapter 5 2026: AI, Cyber Security and Digital Marketing Bootcamps Open for Registration

Published on

IBA CICT’s Summer School is returning for its fifth edition this June, continuing what the institution describes as a tech journey that has grown stronger, smarter, and more future-focused with each passing year. Designed for young minds looking to build practical, career-relevant skills in a digital world, the programme runs for ten days and forty hours beginning June 4, 2026, at IBA’s Main Campus in Karachi, with sessions held Monday through Friday. Early bird registration carries a fifteen percent discount, valid until May 1, with a ten percent sibling discount available alongside it.

The fifth chapter of the Summer School spans five distinct learning tracks, each targeting a different dimension of the digital economy. Smart Screens Smart Minds focuses on building focus, creativity, learning, and everyday digital habits. Artificial Intelligence in Filmmaking takes a more creative angle, guiding participants through turning ideas into characters, stories, and films using artificial intelligence tools. The Digital Marketing Bootcamp is structured around building real campaigns, learning practical skills, and bringing ideas to life in an applied marketing context. Cyber Smart Bootcamp covers the fundamentals of behaving safely online, understanding network systems, and developing the ability to identify and respond to cyber threats. The fifth track, Data Science Bootcamp, is oriented around working with real-world datasets, building projects, and uncovering patterns hidden within data.

The programme sits within IBA CICT’s broader mandate of equipping the next generation with technology skills that are grounded in real application rather than theoretical exposure alone. Each bootcamp is designed to be self-contained, allowing participants to focus on the track most aligned with their interests while still being part of a wider community of learners across disciplines. The range of subjects on offer — from filmmaking to cyber security to data science — reflects an attempt to speak to students with varied inclinations rather than a single academically defined audience.

Registration is open and those interested can sign up through the link shared in the original announcement. With the early bird deadline set for May 1, the window for discounted entry is limited, and given that this is the fifth consecutive edition of the programme, demand from returning and new participants alike is expected to be considerable.
