Pakistan–China ICT B2B Forum 2026 Invites Pakistani Startups for AI, Fintech and Tech Partnerships in China

Published on

Ignite – National Technology Fund has invited applications from innovative Pakistani startups to participate in the Pakistan–China ICT B2B Forum 2026, scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, China on 24 May 2026. The initiative is being positioned as a significant bilateral technology engagement platform aimed at strengthening digital cooperation between Pakistan and China, while enabling startups to access international networks, potential investors, and global markets. The forum is expected to bring together leading technology companies from China alongside selected Pakistani startups, creating structured opportunities for business-to-business engagement and collaboration in high-growth digital sectors.

The event is anticipated to be attended by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, reflecting its strategic importance within the broader context of technology diplomacy and economic cooperation between the two countries. With senior-level participation expected from both sides, the forum is set to provide startups with direct exposure to policymakers, industry leaders, and major technology stakeholders. The platform is also being seen as an opportunity to showcase Pakistan’s growing startup ecosystem at an international level, particularly in areas where innovation is gaining momentum and global demand continues to rise.

Key focus areas of the Pakistan–China ICT B2B Forum 2026 include fintech, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, e-commerce, gaming, and animation. These sectors have been identified as priority domains for collaboration, reflecting both countries’ increasing interest in digital transformation and emerging technologies. Pakistani startups working in these fields will have the opportunity to present their solutions to Chinese firms, explore commercial partnerships, and engage in discussions around investment, joint ventures, and technology exchange that could support scaling into international markets.

Participants selected for the forum will also be part of curated B2B meetings designed to facilitate direct interaction with leading Chinese technology companies. These engagements are expected to open pathways for strategic partnerships, including potential memorandums of understanding that may support long-term cooperation in product development, market access, and innovation-driven expansion. The exposure to China’s large and rapidly evolving technology ecosystem is considered a key advantage for participating startups, particularly those looking to expand beyond domestic boundaries.

Startups interested in participating have been asked to submit their applications by 22 April 2026 through the official registration form provided by Ignite. The selection process will focus on identifying high-potential ventures with scalable solutions and relevance to the forum’s thematic areas. The Pakistan–China ICT B2B Forum 2026 is being viewed as part of ongoing efforts to integrate Pakistan’s startup ecosystem with global technology value chains and strengthen its position in the international digital economy landscape.
