NIC Karachi to Host Multi-Stakeholder Consultation on Digital and AI Infrastructure

Published on

National Incubation Center Karachi is set to host a multi-stakeholder consultation session on 24 April, aimed at shaping Pakistan’s future direction in digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and data ecosystems. The session will bring together participants from across the technology landscape, including information technology and software firms, telecom operators, data centre providers, artificial intelligence and cloud companies, cybersecurity experts, infrastructure vendors, startups, and industry associations. The initiative reflects a growing need for coordinated dialogue as Pakistan continues to expand its digital and technological capabilities.

The consultation is designed to create a platform for cross-sector engagement, enabling stakeholders to identify interdependencies and align priorities for building a resilient and future-ready digital ecosystem. By bringing together technical leaders and decision-makers, the session aims to move beyond isolated discussions and encourage collaborative input on infrastructure development, investment direction, and ecosystem readiness. The focus on artificial intelligence and data systems highlights increasing recognition of their role in economic growth and digital transformation.

Senior chief technology officers and chief information officers have been specifically invited to contribute insights on key operational and strategic challenges. These include assessing technical and commercial feasibility, validating infrastructure and compute requirements, and addressing regulatory, security, and operational considerations. The session will also explore opportunities for partnerships and consortium-based approaches, particularly as large-scale digital infrastructure projects increasingly require coordinated industry participation.

The event will take place at National Incubation Center Karachi at 2:30 PM and is expected to contribute to shaping actionable recommendations for Pakistan’s digital future. Participation is subject to confirmation following registration, with organisers aiming to maintain a focused and high-impact discussion environment.
