NICAT Opens Applications for AeroFusion 2025 Research Showcase with Cash Prizes for Top Projects

Published on

NICAT,  National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies has opened applications for AeroFusion 2025, a research showcase scheduled for June 5 and 6 at NICAT Old Airport Road, Rawalpindi. The event is open to founders, students, researchers, and innovators and is designed to move final year projects, prototypes, and research papers beyond the academic environment and into direct engagement with industry, academia, and domain experts.

Participants will present their work to a panel of judges who will evaluate projects for real-world impact and commercial potential, offering direct feedback alongside meaningful exposure to the kind of professional networks that rarely intersect with university research in a structured way. Top projects will be recognised with cash prizes, giving the showcase a competitive dimension that incentivises participants to treat the event as a serious platform rather than a ceremonial display of academic output.

The format is deliberately inclusive across career stages whether a founder with a working prototype, a student with a final year project, or a researcher with published or in-progress work, the showcase is structured to accommodate different levels of development and present them within a single competitive environment. That breadth is intentional, reflecting NICAT’s positioning at the intersection of aerospace, deep tech, and civilian startup activity within the broader National Aerospace Science and Technology Park ecosystem.

AeroFusion 2025 is supported by Ignite — National Technology Fund, the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom, NETSOL Technologies, NASTP, Air University, and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra. Interested participants can apply through the official link at bit.ly/42CJVGb before the deadline.
