The Femtech Innovation Hub (FIHP) hosted an investor summit in collaboration with CERP and LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship, bringing together graduates of its acceleration program, venture capital firms, angel investors and ecosystem stakeholders to focus on women’s health innovation in Pakistan. The gathering marked the closing phase of the FIHP program and highlighted efforts aimed at strengthening connections between healthcare focused startups and potential investors within the country’s growing innovation ecosystem.
The summit featured presentations from cohort startups including Be Me, a platform focused on improving mental health access for women and workplace environments, and EZShifa, which provides digital primary healthcare solutions designed to improve affordability and access at scale. These startups were presented to a room of investors and ecosystem participants representing firms such as Indus Valley Capital, Sarmayacar, Fatima Gobi Ventures, Amaana Capital and Khantastic Ventures, alongside founders and representatives from multiple technology and innovation driven organizations operating in Pakistan.
Organizers described the summit as more than a traditional pitch event, framing it as the closing ceremony of the FIHP program, which has been funded by the Gates Foundation. According to program leadership at CERP, the initiative was designed to create sustained momentum for women’s health innovation and bring it closer to investment readiness through structured mentorship and exposure to industry stakeholders. The program has supported multiple startups over its duration, with a focus on bridging gaps between healthcare challenges and scalable technological solutions.
The Femtech Innovation Hub has incubated a total of 35 startups and graduated 20 ventures, reflecting increasing attention toward women centered healthcare innovation within Pakistan’s startup ecosystem. Participants and organizers emphasized that continued collaboration between incubators, investors and founders will remain essential for advancing solutions in the femtech and digital healthcare space, particularly as demand for accessible and affordable health services continues to grow.
