Plouton AI Cofounders Sarfraz Shahid Hussain and Furqan Karim Make Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2026

Two Pakistani founders have earned a place on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2026 list under the Finance and Venture Capital category for building Plouton AI, a Singapore-based agentic automation platform that helps midmarket companies automate their finance workflows without replacing the tools they already use. Sarfraz Shahid Hussain and Muhammad Furqan Karim Kidwai cofounded the company after backing from Antler Singapore, one of the region’s more active early-stage venture programs.

The idea behind Plouton AI came from Kidwai’s direct experience building a fintech company in Pakistan, where he observed how finance teams across emerging markets continue to rely heavily on spreadsheets and email chains to manage processes that larger enterprises have long since automated. Rather than asking companies to invest in expensive enterprise software, Plouton AI uses auditable browser-based agents that run finance workflows, including invoicing, payroll processing, and month-end reconciliation, within tools companies already use such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel. The approach lowers the barrier to automation considerably for businesses that cannot justify the cost or complexity of overhauling their existing systems.

The Finance and Venture Capital category on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list recognises young leaders reshaping how capital moves and how financial infrastructure is built across the Asia-Pacific region. Plouton AI’s inclusion alongside investors and fintech founders from across the region places the company within a broader conversation about where automation and artificial intelligence are having the most immediate practical impact in financial operations. Syed Ismail, another Pakistani entrepreneur working in retail technology, also featured on this year’s list, marking a notable showing for Pakistani founders across multiple categories.

For Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, the recognition carries a particular significance. Plouton AI is a company that traces its origins to a problem observed in Pakistan’s own financial infrastructure, built by founders with direct familiarity with the gaps that exist in emerging market finance operations, and has now reached a stage where it is being recognised on one of the more competitive young entrepreneur lists in the Asia-Pacific region.
