SEIC to Host Circle of Influence Brainstorm on Everyday Startup Ideas

Published on

SEIC is hosting a session called The Circle of Influence Brainstorm, built around a simple but useful premise for aspiring founders, that the friction points people deal with on a weekly basis often contain the seeds of a viable startup idea. The session will be led by Fasih Hansmukh, Founder and CEO of LibXR and a Shark Tank entrepreneur, whose background pairs direct startup building experience with previous exposure to investor-facing pitch environments, giving him a practical vantage point on how everyday problems can be reframed into concrete business concepts.

The format is structured around turning ordinary frustrations, the kind of small but recurring inefficiencies people rarely think to question, into the starting point for a startup concept, an approach that stands in contrast to more abstract ideation exercises that ask participants to invent problems rather than draw from lived experience. This grounding in personal friction points is often considered a more reliable source of startup ideas than purely theoretical brainstorming, since problems founders have personally experienced tend to come with a clearer understanding of the audience and use case from the outset.

Scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 11:30 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon, the session will take place at SEIC’s Catalyst Hall, positioning it as part of the institute’s broader programming aimed at early-stage ideation rather than later-stage venture building. The session is being run under the banner of Build What Matters and forms part of SEIC’s Open House activities, reflecting an effort to make the ideation process accessible to a wider audience beyond those already committed to a specific startup concept.

Interested participants can register through the link provided or reach SEIC directly through the contact details shared for the event, with the session forming part of a continuing pattern of ideation and early-stage founder support programming coming out of Sindh’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, aimed at helping a broader base of potential founders move from recognising a problem to shaping it into a structured business idea.
