PSX and CFA Society Pakistan to Host Speaker Series on AI Investing

Published on

Pakistan Stock Exchange and CFA Society Pakistan are presenting an exclusive speaker series titled Investing in the Age of AI, How Global Investors Are Navigating the Rise of AI. The session addresses a topic of growing relevance to Pakistan’s investment community, examining how artificial intelligence is reshaping investment strategy and decision-making among institutional and global investors, an area where local market participants may benefit from direct exposure to international perspectives.

The session features Mubashira Bukhari Khwaja, CFA, Investment Director at Aberdeen in the UK, as speaker, bringing a global institutional investment perspective to the discussion on how AI is influencing investment approaches at established international asset management firms. The session is moderated by Ali Farid Khwaja, CFA, Commissioner at the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, pairing an international investment practitioner with a senior domestic regulator, giving the conversation a dual lens spanning both global market practice and Pakistan’s own regulatory perspective on emerging technology within financial markets.

Scheduled for August 19, 2026, from 5 to 6 in the evening Pakistan Standard Time in Karachi, the session gives local investment professionals, CFA charterholders, and other financial market participants direct access to a speaker actively working within a major global asset management firm, offering insight into how AI adoption is unfolding in more developed capital markets compared to Pakistan’s own gradually evolving investment landscape.

Registration for the session closes on August 17, 2026, with interested attendees able to register by emailing info@psx.com.pk or info@cfapakistan.org. The speaker series continues a pattern of collaboration between Pakistan Stock Exchange and CFA Society Pakistan in bringing timely, globally relevant financial topics to the country’s investment community, positioning the discussion on AI’s role in investing as part of a broader effort to keep Pakistani financial professionals informed of international trends shaping the future of asset management.
