VR Wing Named Among Top 100 At SEE Pakistan 2026

Published on

VR Wing, a startup incubated by CEGA, the Center of Excellence in Gaming and Animation, has been selected among the top 100 startups at SEE Pakistan 2026, standing out from a pool of more than 4,000 applicants. The selection places VR Wing within a small fraction of the total startups that applied, reflecting a highly competitive selection process across one of Pakistan’s larger entrepreneurial expos.

VR Wing focuses on building immersive virtual reality, simulation and next generation learning experiences, an area that combines hardware and software development with practical applications spanning education, training and healthcare visualisation. The startup’s positioning at the intersection of VR technology and learning reflects a growing interest in applying immersive technologies to fields where hands on visualisation, such as medical training, can offer clearer educational value than traditional instructional formats.

Co-Founder Sadia Anis has led the VR Wing team through its development within CEGA’s incubation programme, with the recognition at SEE Pakistan 2026 marking a significant external validation of the startup’s progress since joining the centre’s ecosystem. CEGA’s role in supporting VR Wing through its incubation journey reflects the centre’s broader mandate of nurturing startups working in gaming, animation and related immersive technology fields, extending its focus beyond traditional animation and game development into adjacent areas like VR based simulation and learning tools.

The startup’s recognition at SEE Pakistan adds to a growing list of achievements for ventures emerging from CEGA’s incubation ecosystem, positioning the centre as a meaningful contributor to Pakistan’s broader gaming, animation and immersive technology sector. VR Wing’s growth from an early stage incubated startup to a nationally recognised top 100 company demonstrates the kind of trajectory CEGA’s incubation model is designed to support.

VR Wing’s team, alongside CEGA, expressed gratitude for the support received throughout the startup’s incubation journey, crediting the recognition to sustained effort across the venture’s development. The milestone was also acknowledged by CEGA’s broader network of collaborators, including Ignite National Technology Fund, the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Game District, Agon Esports and AzCorp Entertainment, reflecting the institutional ecosystem supporting Pakistan’s gaming and immersive technology startups as they compete on national platforms like SEE Pakistan.
