Pajic AI Lab, a dedicated research and innovation subsidiary of PAJIC Holding Ltd, announced the successful pre-seed funding of two homegrown AI startups specifically engineered for the Pakistani market, aimed at democratizing access to advanced artificial intelligence for Pakistani students and freelancers. The startups are designed to address localized barriers to digital productivity that have historically limited how effectively Pakistani users can access advanced AI tools.
The upcoming applications will provide students and the country’s fast growing freelancer community with access to state of the art Large Language Models and vibe coding capabilities at a sixty to seventy percent cost reduction compared to international platforms. This significant price differential is intended to make advanced AI tools accessible to a much broader segment of Pakistani users who may otherwise find international pricing prohibitive relative to local income levels.
The platforms directly tackle long standing financial and transactional hurdles faced by Pakistani users by integrating local payment pathways, allowing users to subscribe and transact seamlessly in Pakistani Rupees using local banking applications and digital wallets. This local payment integration bypasses foreign exchange surcharges and international credit card constraints that have often made it difficult or costly for Pakistani users to access subscription based international AI platforms.
Fysal Gill, President and Chairman of PAJIC Holding Ltd, described the initiative as a defining moment for Pakistan’s AI sector, pointing to substantial infrastructure investments already underway across GPU based data centres, robust national policies backing AI initiatives, and global technology leaders such as Google expanding their physical footprint in Pakistan as evidence that the foundational ecosystem is now firmly in place. Gill said both startups are built to deliver immediate value by equalizing access to intelligence at a fraction of international costs, adding that removing payment friction through local PKR settlement will empower Pakistani youth, support digital creators, generate revenue, and directly drive economic growth over the next three to five years in alignment with the Government of Pakistan’s Digital 2030 framework.
The two startups are currently finalizing localized model fine tuning and API integration, with full commercial deployment scheduled for 2026. PAJIC Holding Ltd operates as an investment and management firm focused on driving innovation across information technology, telecommunications, and high growth startups, with Pajic AI Lab serving as its specialized innovation unit responsible for identifying and nurturing disruptive technology ventures designed to address structural challenges within emerging markets such as Pakistan.
