Pak Angels Supports New Venture Contest 2027 As Promotional Partner

Published on

Pak Angels is supporting the 2027 New Venture Contest, organized by IPP World, as a promotional partner, working to bring the competition to promising entrepreneurs across Pakistan. The contest is open to individuals with innovative product or business ideas capable of building a real business, strengthening local manufacturing, reducing imports, creating jobs, or addressing a significant problem, positioning it as a platform for ventures with tangible economic impact rather than purely conceptual pitches.

The competition offers interest free financing and cash awards, with a first prize of USD 30,000, a second prize of USD 15,000, and a third prize of USD 10,000. Selected entrepreneurs stand to gain more than funding, with access to expert mentorship, structured feedback, investor exposure, and guidance from experienced business professionals intended to help move ideas toward becoming functioning ventures.

Proposals for New Venture Contest 2027 must be submitted by October 16, 2026, with interested applicants able to register through https://hh.etlonline.org/competitions/2027-new-venture-contest-nvc-mtchxph2. The contest follows a structured timeline running through early 2027, including a semi-finalist announcement, business plan submissions, semi-final interviews, and a final pitch and awards ceremony in Lahore.

Now in its fifth year, the New Venture Contest has drawn more than 1,000 submitted ideas, selected 15 winners, supported nine active businesses, distributed over 66,000 dollars in prize money, generated over 136,000 dollars in revenue among participating ventures, and contributed to more than 130 jobs created. The competition is run in collaboration with a wide network of partners, including Akhuwat, Dixie Electronics and Appliances, Hidaya Foundation, Kawish Welfare Foundation, and several academic and technical institutions across Pakistan.
