WISE Lab Hosts In Person Open House For Women Led Startups

Published on

WISE Lab, described as Pakistan’s first dedicated incubation programme for women led startups, is opening its doors with an in-person event inviting founders with a strong idea, prototype, early stage startup, or growing women led business to meet the WISE Lab team directly. The event is structured around candid conversation and immersive engagement rather than a formal presentation, offering attendees the chance to explore what the programme’s support could unlock for their ventures.

The session includes an immersive panel discussion and a hands-on problem solving segment run in collaboration with OpenSoch, giving attendees practical exposure to how the programme approaches real founder challenges rather than only outlining eligibility and application logistics. The format reflects a broader trend among Pakistani incubation programmes toward interactive, in-person engagement over static application materials, particularly for programmes targeting first time or underrepresented founders.

The open house is scheduled for 8 September 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at National Incubation Center Islamabad, with interested founders able to register through https://lnkd.in/dRWe4EZx. Positioning itself as Pakistan’s first dedicated incubation programme specifically for women led startups fills a distinct gap within the country’s incubation landscape, where women focused support has often existed as a track within broader programmes rather than a standalone initiative.

WISE Lab is supported by Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ignite National Technology Fund, JazzWorld, Mobilink Bank, and Change Mechanics. The programme continues to build momentum within Pakistan’s growing network of women focused entrepreneurship initiatives, following its earlier partnership with Fatima Jinnah Women University for a university level pitching competition that drew 111 startup applications.
