Accelerate Prosperity Offers Subsidized Financing Up To Six Crore

Published on

Accelerate Prosperity, a programme of the Aga Khan Development Network operating across Central and South Asia, is offering subsidized business financing of up to PKR 6 crore to businesses with existing traction that need capital to grow, structured with flexible collateral and repayment terms. The offering targets a specific gap in Pakistan’s financing landscape, that gap between businesses too established for early-stage grant or seed programmes but still facing friction accessing conventional bank financing on terms suited to a growing, asset-light operation.

Eligibility is restricted to startups and small and growing businesses operating in the manufacturing or service sector that follow eco-friendly practices, embedding environmental sustainability directly into the financing criteria rather than treating it as a bonus consideration layered on top of standard lending. Applicants must have been in operation for at least two years, a threshold that filters out very early-stage ventures still validating their core business model and instead targets companies that have already demonstrated some baseline commercial viability and are now looking to scale that proven model further.

The programme is open to applicants from across Pakistan, extending Accelerate Prosperity’s reach beyond the specific mountainous and northern regions where the Aga Khan Development Network has traditionally concentrated its rural development work. This national scope reflects the organization’s broader positioning as offering creative financial solutions alongside pre and post investment technical assistance, aiming to help early-stage businesses, startups, and innovative ideas grow into new markets, create sustainable employment, and strengthen the communities they operate within.

Interested businesses can apply through the scale-up application link, with additional programme details available through a separate information page. The offering continues Accelerate Prosperity’s established role within Pakistan’s broader financing ecosystem, following its earlier memorandum of understanding with Sindh Enterprise Development Fund aimed at strengthening SME financing access, extending a track record of structuring capital specifically for businesses that conventional financing channels have historically underserved.
