NIC Lahore Opens Applications for Ambassador Program 2026 for Student Leaders

Published on

NIC Lahore has opened applications for its Ambassador Program 2026, inviting student leaders who are passionate about startups, innovation and entrepreneurship to represent the incubator on their own campuses. The programme gives students a formal way to connect their interest in entrepreneurship with hands on involvement in Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, rather than engaging with it only as spectators or occasional event attendees.

Selected ambassadors will have the chance to build their network, gain leadership experience and represent NIC Lahore within their university communities. By positioning students as the incubator’s point of contact on campus, the programme effectively extends NIC Lahore’s reach into universities it might not otherwise engage with directly, while giving participating students a visible leadership role tied to a recognized national incubation brand.

The programme comes with a defined set of perks for participants, including a participation certificate, entrepreneurship and training workshops, LinkedIn endorsements and recommendations, an internship opportunity and official NIC Lahore merchandise. A separate incentive is also offered to the ambassador who brings in the most participants, with additional perks beyond the standard package, giving the programme a built in competitive element meant to encourage ambassadors to actively promote NIC Lahore’s opportunities within their own networks.

Applications for the Ambassador Program 2026 are open now through the application link, with NIC Lahore encouraging interested students to apply promptly. The programme continues to be supported by the Ministry of IT and Telecom, Pakistan Software Export Board, Ignite National Technology Fund and NETSOL Technologies, alongside HBL, Beaconhouse National University, the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Plug and Play Tech Center and Daftarkhwan.
