Ignite National Technology Fund, under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, has brought five Pakistani startups to TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 in San Francisco, where they are showcasing their solutions on the first day of the event. The startups are Swich, working in fintech and Web3; Docklens, Heyeve.ai and Hsieh, all working in artificial intelligence and machine learning; and SecureOS, working in cybersecurity and privacy technology. Ignite said the tagline of the presence is Think Tech, Think Pakistan.
TechCrunch Disrupt is held at Moscone West from 13 to 15 October and brings together more than 10,000 founders, investors and technology leaders, with stage sessions, an expo hall and the Startup Battlefield competition. Ignite invited Pakistani startups to apply for a place in early September, and the five on display were chosen from that call. For founders from Pakistan, the participation gives access to international investors and technology firms, the chance to explore new markets and a way to build business relationships that are hard to start from home.
The mix of startups reflects the main areas in which Pakistani founders are building for a global audience. Three work in artificial intelligence and machine learning, which is now the most active category at global technology events, while Swich covers the intersection of finance and Web3 and SecureOS covers security and privacy, an area where demand has grown with the spread of cloud services and AI tools. Ignite has said that the participation reflects its commitment to helping Pakistani startups grow internationally.
The showcase follows other recent efforts by Ignite to take Pakistani startups to international stages, including its delegation of ten startups to LEAP 2026 in Riyadh and its call for cybersecurity startups to attend GISEC Global in Dubai.
