Five NIC Lahore Startups Head To Plug And Play Silicon Valley To Scale Internationally

Published on

Five startups from National Incubation Center Lahore are taking their innovations to Plug and Play Tech Center in Silicon Valley, in a trip that the incubator says opens doors to global networks, investor connections and chances to scale internationally. The startups are Entropy and Co., Heyeve, Hsieh AI, Recruit AI and elevAID. Their products range from AI-powered automation and legal technology to recruitment solutions and healthcare innovation, and the incubator says they represent the ambition, talent and problem-solving ability of Pakistan’s emerging startup ecosystem.

The trip was made possible by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ignite National Technology Fund and the Pakistan Startup Fund, which together create pathways for Pakistani startups to reach global innovation ecosystems and compete on the international stage. It follows a first batch last year, when four startups from the incubator joined the Global Overseas Acceleration and Learning programme at Plug and Play, with the Pakistan Startup Fund covering their expenses, and it is the second time the incubator has sent its founders there. Heyeve and Hsieh AI are also among the five startups that Ignite has taken to TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco this week.

Plug and Play is a Silicon Valley innovation platform with a base in Sunnyvale that runs accelerator programmes connecting startups to large corporations and investors. Its fall batches for 2026 include 140 startups from 20 countries, and its programmes are equity-free, with the Silicon Valley Summit set for 3 to 5 November. Plug and Play is also one of the supporters of National Incubation Center Lahore, which gives the incubator a direct line into the network and the ability to nominate its best startups.

National Incubation Center Lahore is one of the national incubation centres set up by Ignite National Technology Fund under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, and it is run by a consortium led by NetSol Technologies with Habib Bank Limited, Plug and Play Tech Center, Daftarkhwan, Beaconhouse National University, the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Accelerate Prosperity. The incubator said it is proud to have supported the founders on their journey, and hopes the visit will lead to lasting connections that carry Pakistani innovation further.
