National Incubation Center Peshawar is hosting Mind Reboot: A Circle on Digital Wellbeing today, Friday, 16 October, at 3:00 PM at the incubation center. The session starts from a simple point, that screens connect people but can also leave them anxious, tired and distracted. It is an open circle with psychiatrists, a public health doctor and a psychologist, and the flyer names Dr Muhammad Shahzad among the speakers. Entry is free and registration is required through the registration link.
The circle will cover screen habits, sleep, focus, online safety and when to seek help. These are everyday concerns for founders and startup teams, who often work long hours online, answer messages late at night and face constant pressure to be available. Combining the views of medical doctors and a psychologist gives the audience a chance to hear about both the physical and mental effects of heavy screen use, and to ask questions in an open format rather than a lecture.
The session is part of the incubator’s wider effort to look beyond business skills towards the wellbeing of the people who run startups. National Incubation Center Peshawar was established in 2017 and is funded by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Ignite National Technology Fund. It is run by a consortium led by LMKR and has supported more than 200 startups across its cohorts.
