Iqra University has announced Ideaverse 2.0, a startup pitching and showcase competition that will bring founders together for three days of pitching, innovation and competition. The event is presented by Microtech and organized by the IU Entrepreneurship Society as part of Spectrum 2.0. It will take place at the Iqra University Main Campus in Karachi on November 10, 11 and 14, 2026. Founders will pitch their ideas, showcase their startups and compete for a total prize pool of up to PKR 100,000, and the competition is open to startups from across Sindh, not only those from the university.
Registration is open online, with fees set at PKR 1,000 for Iqra University students and PKR 2,000 for external participants. An early bird deadline of October 31, 2026 has been announced, although the post did not say what discount or benefit early registrants will receive or what the fees will be after that date. Interested teams can register through the online form. The organizers have encouraged startups to sign up and be part of what they describe as three exciting days of pitching and showcasing.
For early-stage founders, a competition of this kind offers a chance to present their ventures to an audience, receive feedback and compete for prize money, which can matter for teams that are still working without outside funding. Opening the event to startups across Sindh, and not just to Iqra University students, also widens the pool of participants and gives teams from outside the university a place to be seen.
