Accelerate Prosperity Announces Tender for Startup Investment Handbook

Published on

Accelerate Prosperity has announced a tender for the development of a bilingual Startup Investment Handbook and one year of advisory support for startups, inviting qualified law and investment advisory firms to submit proposals for a project centered on making investment through the Astana International Financial Centre more accessible to startups. The tender addresses a fairly practical gap in Central Asia’s startup ecosystem, where founders raising investment through structured financial centres like the AIFC often lack clear, accessible guidance on the legal and procedural steps involved.

Accelerate Prosperity is seeking proposals for developing a practical investment handbook specifically aimed at startups raising investment through the AIFC, along with one year of accompanying advisory support to help startups apply the handbook’s guidance in practice. The selected consultant or consultants will review and finalise the bilingual handbook in English and Russian, ensuring the resource is accessible to startups across different language communities within the region the AIFC serves. This bilingual approach reflects the broader linguistic diversity of Central Asia’s startup ecosystem, where founders may be more comfortable working in Russian, English, or both depending on their background and prior business experience.

Beyond finalising the handbook itself, the selected consultant will also develop a summary presentation deck intended for use in startup trainings, giving Accelerate Prosperity a more condensed, trainer-friendly version of the handbook’s guidance that can be delivered directly to founders in workshop or bootcamp settings rather than requiring them to work through a full written document independently. The one year of advisory support will cover investment structuring, AIFC holding company registration, and fundraising, giving startups sustained access to expert guidance across the specific technical and legal steps involved in raising capital through this particular financial centre rather than a one-time consultation limited to the handbook’s initial development.

Interested law and investment advisory firms must submit their proposals by August 12, 2026, at 18:00 Bishkek time, with submissions directed to aliman.kenzhebaeva@akdn.org. Further information about the tender is available at https://lnkd.in/eYzi5q_W. The tender reflects Accelerate Prosperity’s continued investment in building structural support resources for startups across the markets it serves, moving beyond direct mentorship and incubation programming into the development of standardised reference materials that can extend the organisation’s guidance to a broader base of founders navigating investment processes through the AIFC.
