Accelerate Prosperity has announced the launch of Startup Pakistan, a new initiative aimed at transforming the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The program is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through KfW and Aga Khan Foundation.
The launch event brought together entrepreneurs, support organizations, investors, and policymakers to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Pakistan’s startup landscape. Attendees had the opportunity to interact with innovative products and services, including Davaam‘s product dispensing solution designed to reduce plastic waste.
A panel discussion on “The Entrepreneurial Landscape of Pakistan—Where Ideas Take Flight” featured prominent figures such as Esther Gravenkötter, Head of Division at KfW, Syed Sajid Ali, Muhammad Bilal Abbasi, General Manager at Ignite, and Sehrish Raza, founder of BizB. The panelists shared valuable insights and discussed strategies to support the growth of startups in Pakistan.
Startup Pakistan aims to provide the necessary resources, mentorship, and funding to empower entrepreneurs and create sustainable businesses. By fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, the program seeks to contribute to Pakistan’s economic growth and development.
