BIC Peshawar Extends Application Deadline for Incubation Cohort 3

Published on

The Business Incubation Center at University of Peshawar has extended the application deadline for its Cohort 3 incubation programme to August 5, 2026, citing overwhelming interest from prospective applicants as the reason for the extension. The additional time gives founders with innovative ideas or early-stage startups a further window to prepare and submit applications for a programme that had originally been set to close sooner, reflecting a level of demand that pushed organisers to accommodate a larger pool of interested applicants rather than turning away founders who may have needed more time to complete their submissions.

Founders accepted into Cohort 3 will gain access to a range of support structures designed to help move an early idea toward a more developed venture, including expert mentorship intended to guide founders through the specific challenges of building a startup, business development support aimed at strengthening the commercial viability of their ventures, and networking opportunities that can connect them with other founders, mentors, and industry contacts within the incubator’s ecosystem. The programme also provides co-working facilities, giving founders a physical space to operate from during the incubation period, alongside investor and funding access intended to help ventures move toward the kind of financial backing needed to scale beyond the earliest stages of development.

By operating out of University of Peshawar, the Business Incubation Center extends structured startup support into a region that has historically had less concentrated access to incubation infrastructure compared to Pakistan’s larger startup hubs such as Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. The extended deadline gives founders based in and around Peshawar additional time to put together applications that make full use of the support the programme offers, potentially widening the pool of ventures from the region that go on to benefit from structured mentorship and investor access.

Interested applicants can apply through https://lnkd.in/dkgpE2rs ahead of the new deadline of August 5, 2026, with the extension framed by organisers as a direct response to the volume of interest received rather than a delay caused by administrative issues. The call to action, framed around not missing the chance to turn an idea into impact, positions the extended window as a final opportunity for founders considering the programme to submit their applications before the incubation centre moves into its selection process for Cohort 3.
