Brainswarm Robotics Startup Wins National Robotics Award at Indus RAS Expo

Published on

Another milestone has been reached for the NSTP innovation ecosystem, with Brainswarm Robotics, a startup from the NSTP ecosystem, securing first place at Indus RAS Expo 2026, winning the RAS Innovation Challenge Award 2026 along with a PKR 1 Million Grand Prize. The win places Brainswarm Robotics at the top of one of the two major competitions held during the expo, giving the startup both substantial financial recognition and considerable visibility within Pakistan’s robotics and autonomous systems ecosystem.

The RAS Innovation Challenge was organised by Ignite National Technology Fund and the National Centre of Robotics and Automation under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, bringing together some of Pakistan’s most promising robotics innovators in direct competition. Winning first place against this pool of competing teams reflects a meaningful level of technical achievement, particularly given the institutional weight behind the competition and the caliber of robotics ventures it likely attracted from across the country’s growing deep tech sector.

Brainswarm Robotics’ achievement reflects the talent, determination, and innovation emerging from Pakistan’s growing startup ecosystem, offering a concrete example of how NSTP’s incubation environment has supported a startup through to a nationally recognised competitive win. For NSTP specifically, the win serves as validation of its broader approach to nurturing startups, reinforcing the value of the mentorship, industry linkages, and technical infrastructure it provides to ventures working on complex, hardware-driven robotics challenges.

At NSTP, the organisation remains committed to enabling high-potential startups with the environment, mentorship, industry linkages, and opportunities they need to build world-class technologies and scale their impact. Congratulations were extended to the entire Brainswarm Robotics team on this well-deserved recognition, with NSTP expressing pride in having the startup as part of its ecosystem and anticipation for the team’s upcoming innovations shaping the future of robotics in Pakistan. The win adds to the growing list of achievements NSTP-affiliated startups have secured at major national technology events, further reinforcing the science and technology park’s role as a significant contributor to Pakistan’s robotics and deep tech innovation landscape.
