The Business Incubation Center at the University of Peshawar has introduced Cohort 3, a group of 36 startups brought together under the theme of 36 ventures and one entrepreneurial ecosystem. The cohort spans four broad areas: innovation, technology, social impact and enterprise. With the announcement, the center puts on display the largest group of ventures it has gathered so far in a single cohort, and it presents the full list of participating startups in one place for the first time.
Each startup in the cohort represents a distinct idea, a vision for growth and the determination to turn challenges into opportunities. The group includes ventures working on health and community needs, such as BloodBridge and SehatMal, alongside education and inclusion efforts like EdKids and EnableX. Technology focused teams include LamaSolve, LetTech, Tensor Minds and Sanad AI, while Propvision, KaamHai.pk, Apexa and Pakistan Gems Exchange reflect the commercial and marketplace side of the cohort. The range of names shows how broadly young entrepreneurs in the region are looking for problems to solve, from emerging technologies to solutions addressing real world challenges faced by ordinary people.
Through incubation, mentorship, capacity building sessions and entrepreneurial support, the center aims to help founders validate their ideas, make their business models stronger and build sustainable ventures. Incubation programs of this kind give early stage teams a structured environment in which to test assumptions, speak with experienced mentors and learn the practical skills of running a company. For student and youth led ventures, which often lack access to guidance and professional networks, a university based center can provide a bridge between academic learning and the demands of the market.
The cohort reflects the creativity, ambition and entrepreneurial potential of the center’s startup community, and its size shows growing interest in entrepreneurship among young people in Peshawar and across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. As Cohort 3 gets underway, the 36 ventures will work through the center’s programs over the coming months, with the aim of moving from early ideas toward businesses that can grow and sustain themselves. The Business Incubation Center at the University of Peshawar has said it is committed to supporting these founders along the way, and the progress of the cohort will indicate how well the center’s model is working for the next generation of entrepreneurs in the province.
