CEGA and AccelByte Run Game Development Backend Demo Session

Published on

CEGA is partnering with AccelByte for an online session on September 24, 2026, addressing one of the more persistent technical gaps facing Pakistani game studios, the jump from a working prototype to a scalable, live game experience. The session will be led by Damar Indra, Solutions Architect at AccelByte, and is positioned around a practical question many smaller studios face directly, how to build and ship online game features without starting the underlying infrastructure entirely from scratch each time.

The session covers player systems, the foundational accounts, progression, and achievement infrastructure that most modern games require regardless of genre, along with multiplayer systems, an area where technical complexity tends to scale sharply once a game moves beyond single-player prototypes into competitive or cooperative play. It will also address backend infrastructure more broadly and AI-assisted development tools, reflecting how AI tooling is increasingly being folded into game development pipelines rather than treated as a separate, optional feature layer bolted on after the fact.

The session is explicitly built for game developers, studios, founders, and technical leads working to move a game from prototype into production, a framing that positions it less as a general industry talk and more as a working session for teams currently facing this exact transition. For smaller studios operating with limited engineering resources, backend infrastructure is often the least glamorous but hardest part of development to get right independently, and having a solutions architect walk through it directly gives Pakistani teams access to expertise that would otherwise require significant in-house investment to build.

Running the session online at 1:00 PM PKT lowers the barrier for studios outside Karachi to participate without needing to travel, extending CEGA’s reach beyond founders already embedded in its physical ecosystem. Interested developers and studios can comment “CEGA” on the announcement to receive the registration form and event details before September 23. Backed by Ignite National Technology Fund and the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, the AccelByte partnership adds a technical infrastructure dimension to CEGA’s programming, giving Pakistani game studios direct access to the kind of backend tooling that has typically required significant engineering investment or reliance on international platforms without dedicated regional support.
