CEGA Cohort 2 Orientation Launches Gaming and Animation Startups in Karachi

Published on

CEGA has announced the onboarding of its Cohort 2 startups as part of its structured incubation journey focused on gaming and animation ventures. The cohort is now entering the next phase of development following a selection process that included screening, evaluation, and onboarding of early stage founders working on creative and technology driven ideas. The program is designed to support startups from initial concept development through mentorship, production sprints, and preparation for investor readiness.

According to the announcement, the incubation process at CEGA follows a structured framework that guides startups through multiple stages of growth. These include early screening of ideas, selection of promising ventures, continuous mentorship from industry professionals, and production focused sprint cycles that help founders refine and build their products. The program places emphasis on transforming early stage concepts into scalable ventures within the gaming and animation sector.

The Cohort 2 orientation is scheduled to take place in Karachi on May 14 at 1:45 PM, where selected startups will formally begin their incubation journey. The orientation is expected to introduce founders to the incubation structure, mentorship resources, and industry guidance available throughout the program. The session will also outline expectations for participants as they progress through different phases of development within the incubation cycle.

CEGA stated that the incubation model is designed to support founders through a full stack development process, ensuring structured guidance from idea stage to market readiness. The initiative reflects ongoing efforts within Pakistan’s startup ecosystem to support creative industries, particularly gaming and animation, by providing access to mentorship, technical resources, and investor focused development pathways.
