CEGA Offers Free Courses in Film 3D and Technology Skills

Published on

Your dream career shouldn’t come with a hefty price tag, and CEGA is putting that principle into practice with a training initiative offering courses in film, 3D, and technology entirely free of cost. The programme is aimed at individuals dreaming of building games, making films, or mastering 3D environments who may have previously been held back by the cost of specialised training in these fields, positioning CEGA’s offering as a way to remove one of the more significant barriers to entry in creative technology careers.

Whether someone is passionate about game development, filmmaking, animation, or immersive 3D experiences, CEGA is giving participants the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals without any financial cost attached. Participants can choose from six in-demand courses covering the full production pipeline and technical toolset relevant to creative technology work, including Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production, which together cover the stages of filmmaking from planning through to final edit, alongside 3D Animation, Unity 3D, and Unreal Engine, which address the technical software skills increasingly central to game development and immersive media work.

The programme offers both on-site and online learning options, giving participants flexibility in how they engage with the training depending on their location and circumstances, alongside hands-on training designed to build practical skills rather than purely theoretical knowledge. Participants who successfully complete their chosen course will also receive a free certificate, giving them a tangible credential to support their entry into the creative technology industry alongside the skills gained through the training itself.

Applications for the programme close on August 6, 2026, with seats described as limited despite the training itself being offered at no cost, encouraging interested applicants to apply promptly through the link provided at cega.com.pk/training. The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Ignite National Technology Fund, alongside partners including HUM Network, TechSol Space, the LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship, Sablo Studio, SectionSoft, and Agon, reflecting a fairly broad coalition of media, technology, and academic organisations backing CEGA’s effort to widen access to creative technology training across Pakistan.
