DEMO Pakistan is proud to be the Technology Media Partner for NICAT’s AeroFusion 2026, Pakistan’s premier aerospace and deep-tech innovation platform. Scheduled to take place on 5–6 June 2026 at NICAT, Rawalpindi, AeroFusion 2026 will bring together innovators, researchers, founders, engineers, and students from across Pakistan to explore the future of aerospace and deep-tech innovation. Applications are now open, with the deadline to apply set for 17th May 2026.

The National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies (NICAT) has officially opened applications for AeroFusion 2026, Pakistan’s premier aerospace and deep-tech innovation platform, set to take place in Rawalpindi. Designed as a national-level innovation experience, the two-day event will bring together founders, students, researchers, engineers, and emerging innovators working across aerospace, aviation, artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous systems, advanced manufacturing, and frontier technologies.

Organized by the National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies, AeroFusion 2026 is positioned as more than a conventional technology event. Built around the philosophy of transforming ideas into deployable solutions, the platform aims to bridge the gap between research, industry, and commercialization within Pakistan’s evolving deep-tech ecosystem.

Inspired by global innovation frameworks such as NASA’s spinoff model, AeroFusion is designed to push participants beyond theoretical concepts into practical innovation environments where ideas are challenged, refined, and validated through real-world problem solving.

At the center of AeroFusion 2026 are two flagship experiences:

The first is AeroHack, a national-level hackathon where participants will work under time-bound conditions to solve real aerospace and deep-tech challenges. Teams will collaborate, prototype, iterate, and present functional solutions while receiving continuous feedback from mentors and evaluators.

The second is the Research Showcase, a dedicated platform for innovators, researchers, and final-year project teams to present cutting-edge work before industry experts, academia, and domain specialists. Projects will be evaluated on innovation, applicability, scalability, and commercial potential, offering participants national-level exposure and direct access to meaningful professional networks.

The event will also feature aerospace symposiums, fireside discussions, mentor matching sessions, panel conversations, and networking opportunities designed to create a fully immersive innovation ecosystem rather than just a standalone competition.

Participants will work across multiple high-impact domains including:

• Autonomous Systems & Robotics
• AI, Simulation & Digital Twins
• IoT, Sensing & Environmental Intelligence
• Advanced Manufacturing & Energy Systems
• Secure Communications & Navigation
• Human Factors & Safety Systems
• Anti-Drone Technologies & Resilient Airspace Security

Top-performing teams and researchers will compete for significant prize rewards, national recognition, and potential pathways into NICAT’s incubation and innovation support ecosystem.

AeroFusion 2026 is supported by NICAT, funded by Ignite National Technology Fund, backed by the Ministry of IT & Telecom, and led by NETSOL in partnership with NASTP, Air University, and PAC Kamra — collectively shaping the future of national innovation and global competitiveness.
