Endeavor Pakistan has welcomed its eighth Endeavor Entrepreneur team, comprising Ehsan Rahman, Saadaat Yaqub Bajwa, and Zishan Rahman, the founders behind KamelPay, marking another addition to the network’s growing roster of Pakistani scale-up entrepreneurs. The recognition places KamelPay’s founding team alongside a select group of ventures that Endeavor has identified as having the potential for significant growth, a distinction that typically brings access to the organisation’s global network of mentors and fellow entrepreneurs.
Ehsan Rahman, Co-founder and CEO, built his career in structured finance and corporate banking, leading leveraged and structured solutions and investment banking work across the MENA region while managing a substantial structured portfolio, giving him deep familiarity with the financial mechanics underlying KamelPay’s current business. Saadaat Yaqub Bajwa, Co-founder and Director, led wholesale banking operations across the MENA region, with extensive experience in capital markets, syndications, and financial institution relationships, and it was through this work that he observed firsthand how migrant workers were routinely excluded from formal financial services despite operating within some of the same markets his banking work touched. Zishan Rahman, Co-founder and CTO, leads KamelPay’s technology architecture and platform development, bringing prior experience from founding and exiting a technology company as well as co-founding a venture in the health-tech space, rounding out a founding team that combines deep financial services expertise with hands-on technology building experience.
Together, the three founders have built KamelPay into an integrated digital financial ecosystem that brings payroll, payments, and essential financial services to migrant workers across the GCC, a corridor that represents one of the largest migrant worker populations in the world and a segment that traditional banks have long overlooked despite its scale. By combining payroll processing with broader payment and financial service functionality, KamelPay has positioned itself to address a gap in financial inclusion that persists even in relatively wealthy Gulf economies, where migrant labour forms a substantial share of the workforce but has historically had limited access to formal banking infrastructure.
KamelPay’s addition to the Endeavor network reflects the organisation’s continued interest in identifying founders working on structurally significant problems within underserved markets, with the migrant worker financial services segment representing exactly the kind of overlooked, large-scale opportunity that fits Endeavor’s broader mandate of supporting high-potential entrepreneurs. The welcome to the network signals a new phase of support for KamelPay’s founders as they continue building out their platform across the GCC’s migrant worker corridor.
