Fatima Jinnah Women University To Integrate LearnEasy And InnoCollab Into Its Mandatory Entrepreneurship Course

Published on

Fatima Jinnah Women University has agreed to integrate LearnEasy’s digital courses and the startup enablement platform InnoCollab into its mandatory, cross-disciplinary Entrepreneurship course. The agreement was reached at a productive meeting at the university in Rawalpindi, and it is described as an academic collaboration that will connect students across disciplines with practical skills and startup support, helping them turn their ideas into viable ventures. Because the Entrepreneurship course is compulsory and open to students from every discipline, the arrangement has the potential to reach a large number of students, including those who would not normally think of starting a business.

LearnEasy and InnoCollab are both platforms of InnoVista, a technology company based in Islamabad that also runs coworking spaces and training programmes across Pakistan. LearnEasy offers digital courses for skills training, while InnoCollab is a startup platform that lets founders post and develop ideas, find co-founders, connect with mentors and angel investors, and use tools such as an AI-powered pitch deck generator. By adding the two to the course, the university aims to give students a mix of structured learning and a place to apply it, so that a classroom assignment can become the first version of a real startup.

The agreement builds on earlier contact between the university and InnoVista. In June 2026, a team from InnoVista met the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr Bushra Mirza, to discuss ways to prepare female students for the digital economy through skills, entrepreneurship and innovation, and the company announced a Rs1 million prize for the winning startup idea under an InnoCollab programme created for the university’s students. The university also has its own Business Incubation Centre, established in January 2023 with a grant from the Higher Education Commission, which supports students, faculty and alumni who want to start enterprises.

For students, the main benefit is a clearer path from learning to doing. Digital courses allow them to build skills at their own pace, and the startup platform gives them access to peers, mentors and investors outside the campus. For the university, the integration moves its entrepreneurship teaching beyond lectures and case studies and closer to the way startups actually begin. The details of the rollout, such as the semester in which the new content will start and how it will be assessed, have not yet been announced.
