FJWU’s Youth Entrepreneurial Society Hosts Made In Pakistan Pitch Competition

Published on

The Youth Entrepreneurial Society and Business Incubation Center at Fatima Jinnah Women University will host a pitching competition titled Made in Pakistan, centred on the theme of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship across the country. The competition invites aspiring entrepreneurs to present innovative ideas aimed at contributing to a stronger domestically built economy, framing the event around the broader goal of encouraging homegrown products and solutions.

Participants taking part in the competition will pitch their ideas with the aim of being selected as one of the top three winners, who will receive six months of incubation space as their primary prize. All participants, regardless of final placement, will also receive e-certificates recognising their involvement in the competition, giving every entrant some form of formal acknowledgment for their participation.

The competition is organised by the Youth Entrepreneurial Society and Business Incubation Center at Fatima Jinnah Women University, with Hamna Ilza serving as moderator for the session. Structuring the event around a named moderator alongside the organising bodies suggests a formally facilitated pitching format rather than an unstructured open floor presentation, giving participants a clearer sense of how the session will be run.

The competition is scheduled for Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, and will be conducted entirely over Google Meet, making it accessible to participants without requiring travel to a physical venue. Registration for the competition closes on Sunday, August 9, 2026, giving prospective participants a defined window to submit their applications ahead of the pitching session itself.

By offering incubation space as the primary prize rather than cash, the Made in Pakistan competition positions itself as a launchpad for participants to continue developing their ideas with structured institutional support, rather than treating the pitching event as a standalone recognition exercise. Those interested in participating can register through the link provided by the organisers. Register: https://lnkd.in/gP8C4Cxh
