funl Khi Builder’s Edition to Showcase Live AI-Native Building

Published on

The gap between having an idea and having a working product used to be measured in months, but AI-native building has crushed it to minutes, and funl Khi Builder’s Edition is where attendees will see that happen in real time. Rather than positioning itself as a panel discussion about the future of AI, the event is framed explicitly as an evening of people actually building, distinguishing it from the more theoretical or forward-looking format common at many AI-focused gatherings.

Faizan Laghari, Replit’s Country Ambassador for Pakistan, opens the evening with his sharpest build hacks and the most unusual things he has shipped on Replit, giving attendees direct exposure to practical techniques from someone deeply embedded in the AI-native building tools ecosystem. Following this, two to three local founders take the floor to demo real products they have built using Replit and comparable AI builders, with organisers explicitly noting there will be no slideware involved, only working software, reinforcing the event’s emphasis on tangible output over pitch-style presentation.

The evening’s centerpiece is a live Build Challenge, in which a random idea dropped into a box at reception gets pulled out and built into a functioning prototype within 15 minutes, in front of the entire room. Whoever ships the best result takes the prize, giving the event an interactive, almost competitive dimension that turns the audience from passive observers into direct participants in demonstrating how quickly AI-native tools can move an idea into something functional.

funl has always been small by design, operating on an RSVP-only, individually registered basis with no walk-ins permitted, keeping the room intentionally intimate so that connections made during the event are genuine rather than superficial. The event is scheduled for August 21 from 5 to 7 in the evening, following an agenda that opens with welcome remarks, moves through the Replit spotlight and startup showcase, and closes with networking, a Build Bar, and the live 15-minute Build Challenge. The event is aimed at founders building with AI tools, early-stage builders and technologists, investors watching where the next wave of innovation is coming from, and anyone curious about vibe-coding and what it actually produces, with spots limited and tickets available at https://lnkd.in/dtcvMsEw.
