FUTUREPLAY Investor Summit 2026 at CEGA, NED University Karachi is hosting a panel discussion titled The Rise of Pakistan’s Creative Tech Ecosystem, bringing together industry leaders, investors, and ecosystem builders to explore the trajectory of gaming, animation, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and investment within Pakistan’s creative technology landscape. The panel assembles six voices whose combined experience spans enterprise AI, telecom gaming, venture capital, media production, and ecosystem building, creating a multi-perspective conversation about where Pakistan’s creative tech sector stands and what it needs to reach the next stage of its development.
Subah Taqi Shah, Enterprise Business Development and Partnerships at ImagineArt, brings experience in scaling AI-powered enterprise solutions across retail, fashion, and fast-moving consumer goods markets in Pakistan, the UAE, and Turkey, providing the panel with a perspective on how creative technology intersects with enterprise adoption and global partnership building in sectors beyond gaming and animation. Syed Arsalan Qamar, Director of Gaming and Esports at Jazz, leads Pakistan’s largest telecom gaming ecosystem through GameNow and brings more than 20 years of experience across digital innovation, game publishing, and strategic partnership development, giving the panel one of the most authoritative voices on how Pakistan’s gaming industry has developed and where its commercial opportunities are concentrated. Hasnain Ali, Investment Associate at PNO Capital, contributes the investor perspective that is essential for any serious conversation about the future of creative tech in Pakistan, specifically addressing what makes creative technology startups scalable, commercially viable, and genuinely investment-ready rather than simply interesting from a cultural or creative standpoint.
Taha Shuja Hyder, General Manager at HUM Network Limited, brings more than 15 years of experience spanning game design, animation, advertising, and digital art to a discussion of how creative AI and media technology are shaping the future of Pakistan’s creative industries at the intersection of entertainment, brand, and platform. His perspective from within one of Pakistan’s most established media organisations adds a dimension of industry scale and institutional knowledge that complements the more startup-focused voices on the panel. Amin, known as The Rocket Guy, is Founder of Phoenix Venture House and The Rocket Guy Space, and brings nearly three decades of experience as an investor, entrepreneur, and ecosystem builder whose work has focused on helping founders build sustainable ventures and scale innovative businesses, providing the panel with a long-arc view of what it takes to build an ecosystem that produces companies with lasting commercial value rather than moment-specific excitement.
Momina Kazim, Program Manager at CEGA, moderates the discussion, bringing her expertise in venture capital, startup strategy, and founder ecosystem development to a role that requires connecting the diverse perspectives on the panel into a conversation that is genuinely useful for the founders, investors, and ecosystem builders in the audience. Her daily work at CEGA of connecting founders, investors, and industry leaders to accelerate Pakistan’s gaming and animation ecosystem makes her a natural moderator for a panel that is asking the same questions at a higher level that CEGA’s programme is designed to answer at the individual venture level. The panel takes place today, July 16, 2026, at CEGA, NED University, Karachi, as part of the FUTUREPLAY Investor Summit 2026 supported by Ignite and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication.
