GAIN Series to Host Session on Investment Readiness for IT Companies

Published on

Is your company ready to attract global investors and unlock new growth opportunities? As the global technology landscape becomes increasingly competitive, investment readiness has become a critical success factor for IT companies seeking to scale internationally, requiring strong corporate governance, financial transparency, scalable business models, and strategic planning to gain the confidence of venture capitalists, private equity firms, and institutional investors.

The Pakistan Software Export Board is inviting its registered IT and ITeS companies to join Cohort 2, Session 15 of the GAIN Online Awareness and Engagement Series, titled Investment Readiness for Pakistan IT Companies. The exclusive masterclass will be led by Jehangir A. Raja, CEO of JR Dallas Wealth Management, an accomplished financial executive, hedge fund manager, investment banker, registered investment adviser, and private equity investor with over 35 years of global leadership experience. A Member of the World Economic Forum and the Forbes Finance Council, Raja has advised businesses on public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity placements, debt financing, and strategic investments across international markets, bringing a considerable depth of global finance expertise to a session specifically tailored for Pakistani IT companies.

The session will cover understanding what international investors look for in technology companies, building investment-ready businesses through strong corporate governance and financial transparency, and exploring venture capital, private equity, angel investment, and institutional funding opportunities available to Pakistani IT firms. Participants will also gain guidance on preparing for investor due diligence, company valuation, and fundraising, alongside positioning Pakistani IT companies for international expansion, strategic partnerships, and long-term global competitiveness, giving the session a fairly comprehensive scope spanning both foundational governance practices and the more technical mechanics of a fundraising process.

Scheduled for Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30 in the evening Pakistan Standard Time, the session is exclusive to PSEB-registered IT and ITeS companies. Interested and eligible participants can register through https://lnkd.in/diup96-p. The session is supported by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and the Pakistan Software Export Board, continuing the GAIN series’ broader effort to prepare Pakistani IT companies for the kind of international investment engagement that could support their growth beyond the domestic market.
