Gilgit Baltistan’s Most Promising Startups Win Big at APPakistan Summit 2025

At the recent Startup Summit Gilgit Baltistan, five of the region’s most promising tech and tech-enabled startups showcased their innovative ideas to an eager audience and a panel of expert judges. This high-profile event under the #APPakistan initiative provided a vital platform for these startups to pitch their visions, secure strategic partnerships, attract potential buyers, and compete for valuable technical assistance awards.

Among the standout performers, Easy Drop Travel won the Audience Choice Award, earning $5,000 CAD in technical support to enhance its offerings. Meanwhile, Bolain Kya Chahiye (BKC) impressed the judges with their innovative approach and took home the Judges’ Choice Award, receiving $10,000 CAD in technical assistance to help scale their business.

Other notable participants included Step-Up, We Mailers, and uConnect Technologies, all of whom delivered bold and promising ideas that highlighted the incredible local talent emerging from Gilgit Baltistan.

This summit not only recognized these startups’ potential but also emphasized the growing tech ecosystem in Gilgit Baltistan, contributing to Pakistan’s wider innovation landscape. The event reinforced the vital role of regional startups in driving technology-led growth and economic development across the country.
