Herizon Conference Empowers Women Student Entrepreneurs in Karachi

Published on

Husool, in collaboration with SheCan, is launching an exclusive initiative titled Herizon: The Future with Her, a merit-based, no-cost startup conference crafted specifically for female student entrepreneurs in Karachi. Set to take place from July 21 to 24 at Salim Habib University, the event is designed to equip young founders with practical tools, strategic guidance, and valuable networks to grow their ventures and enhance their startup readiness.

Herizon aims to provide a focused, empowering environment for student-led businesses to learn, connect, and showcase their products or services to a wider audience. The initiative reflects a growing commitment to supporting women in entrepreneurship, particularly those in the early stages of business building. This four-day conference offers a structured lineup of expert-led workshops, mentorship sessions, and panel discussions featuring seasoned professionals and startup founders from across the industry.

Topics at the conference are tailored to address core needs of emerging businesses, including how to define a unique selling proposition (USP), manage early-stage finances, and structure legal, operational, and marketing strategies. Additionally, sessions on team building and leadership development aim to enhance the internal capacity of startups to scale sustainably.

Selected startups will have direct access to mentors and subject matter experts, enabling personalized feedback on their business models and go-to-market plans. The platform will also foster a peer learning environment, allowing participants to network and collaborate with other student entrepreneurs. A key benefit of the program is its built-in exposure, giving founders the opportunity to share their work publicly and engage with a supportive ecosystem invested in their long-term success.

Applications are open to female student-led businesses currently operating in Karachi. The process is competitive, with limited slots available to ensure focused attention and tailored support for each participating team. Those interested can apply through an online form and are encouraged to act quickly as the seats are expected to fill up well before the deadline.

This initiative is part of a broader push to level the playing field for women in tech and entrepreneurship, and create spaces where their ideas, leadership, and ambitions are not only welcomed but actively enabled. In a market where female representation in startup leadership remains low, programs like Herizon are paving pathways for more inclusive innovation.

Husool and SheCan are mobilizing both private and academic partners to make this program a success, with Salim Habib University hosting the event and supporting logistics. The organizers have also invited students and educators to follow the journey via social media channels on Instagram and LinkedIn, and are available for further queries through WhatsApp and email.

With mentorship, education, and exposure at the core, Herizon is set to support the next generation of women-led ventures taking shape within Pakistan’s growing startup landscape.
