HUBCO Delegation Visits NIC Karachi To Explore Startup Ecosystem

Published on

NIC Karachi recently hosted a delegation from The Hub Power Company Limited, including Aamer Abdul Razzak, Chief Financial Officer, and Muhammad Khaleeq Siddiqui, Senior Manager of Business Development at Hub Power Services Limited, for an insightful visit focused on Pakistan’s expanding startup ecosystem. The visit provided an opportunity for HUBCO to engage directly with early-stage and growing startups, gaining firsthand exposure to the innovative solutions being developed across multiple sectors. The session reflected a growing trend of collaboration between corporates and emerging entrepreneurs, with an emphasis on shared growth, knowledge exchange, and fostering meaningful partnerships.

During the visit, the HUBCO team interacted with founders from several NIC Karachi startups including Stellisys, BMLH – Brand & Media Learning Hub, Aitisal, asani.io, SmartSphere Technologies, Epsilon Systems, SOCByte, Blackcore AI, and MeshTech Pakistan. Each startup presented its unique approach to tackling industry challenges, ranging from AI-driven solutions and digital transformation tools to platforms enhancing operational efficiency and business growth. The discussions offered HUBCO representatives a deeper understanding of the creativity, problem-solving, and technical capabilities driving innovation in Pakistan’s entrepreneurial landscape.

The engagement underlined the importance of bridging the gap between established corporates and emerging startups. By facilitating direct interactions, NIC Karachi enables corporates to explore potential collaborations, investments, and knowledge-sharing initiatives while allowing startups to showcase their technologies and scale solutions to real-world applications. Such collaborations are increasingly recognized as a vital component of ecosystem growth, helping startups refine offerings, access mentorship, and gain insights into industry requirements, while corporates can identify innovative solutions to enhance their operations and business strategies.

HUBCO’s visit also highlighted the mutual benefits of nurturing strong industry–startup connections. The discussions emphasized how corporates and startups can work together to accelerate digital adoption, co-create products, and explore partnership models that support sustainable growth for both parties. NIC Karachi continues to welcome delegations from diverse industries to foster meaningful engagements, encouraging exchanges that can fuel innovation, create opportunities, and strengthen Pakistan’s startup ecosystem. Through initiatives like these, the organization aims to connect emerging entrepreneurs with established industry leaders, building pathways for collaboration and opening doors for impactful ventures across the country.
