The Center for Entrepreneurial Development, Innovation and Research at the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi has announced its plans for Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026, which it will mark this November under the banner Entrepreneurs Thrive Here. The center said it will turn the campus into a place where entrepreneurs can meet, learn, and show their work, and it listed four main events: the I-Incubate Startup Pitching and Graduation, the Sindh Acceleration Program Demo Day, I-Bazaar, and a series of panel talks. The week is held with Global Entrepreneurship Network Pakistan, and the worldwide celebration is scheduled for November 16 to 22, 2026.
The first event brings together the founders from the center’s I-Incubate program, who will pitch their startups and graduate from the program. A pitching session and graduation gives the founders a chance to present what they have built over the course of the incubation period and to receive recognition for completing it. The second event is the Demo Day for the Sindh Acceleration Program, an eight month program run by the institute’s entrepreneurship center with Sapphire Consulting Services for startups registered in Sindh, which offers business advisory services, mentorship, and access to investors and ends with a demo day at the campus.
I-Bazaar is the center’s flagship festival of entrepreneurship and innovation and is open to the wider community, serving as a marketplace where student and early stage businesses can sell and show their products to visitors. The fourth event, a set of panel talks, will bring speakers from the startup world to discuss issues facing founders. The center said the week is meant to offer everything from groundbreaking ideas to meaningful connections, and it invited the community to come and celebrate innovation, collaboration, and the entrepreneurial spirit with the aim of turning ideas into impact.
The announcement did not give the exact dates of the individual events, the names of speakers, or the venues within the campus, so these details are expected to follow in later posts. The center’s activities this month, including a startup pitching and demo day and several sessions for certificate program participants, point to a busy run of events leading up to the main week. For founders, students, and investors in Karachi, the November program offers several chances to meet one another, see new ventures at work, and take part in one of the city’s largest annual entrepreneurship celebrations.
