IBA CEDIR Opens Karachi Startup Studio Coworking Space For Startups Freelancers And Growing Businesses

Published on

The Center for Entrepreneurial Development, Innovation and Research at the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi has opened applications for IBA CEDIR Startup Studio, a coworking space for startups, freelancers, and growing businesses. The center introduced it with a simple line: big ideas need more than Wi-Fi, they need the right space and the right people around. It describes the studio as a space to work, connect, and grow, where ideas turn into opportunities.

The studio offers six main benefits. Members get an affordable, professional workspace, high-speed internet, and meeting rooms, along with modern facilities. The center also promises networking and collaboration opportunities and access to talent from the institute, which can help young companies find interns and part-time staff. The space is located at the institute’s City Campus, a prime central location in Karachi that makes it easier for businesses to meet clients, investors, and collaborators.

The offer is aimed at several kinds of users. Startups at an early stage can use the studio as a first office, freelancers can find a professional base outside the home, and growing businesses can add seats for small teams without taking on the cost of a lease. For many small companies in Karachi, office rent and the lack of a reliable workspace are among the largest early costs, and a shared space attached to a business school offers a way to cut them while staying close to a network of students, alumni, and mentors.

Interested founders and freelancers can apply through the studio’s application page. The announcement did not give the cost of a seat, the number of places available, or a closing date, so applicants should check the application page for current terms. The center’s closing line was aimed at everyone it hopes to reach, whether launching, freelancing, or scaling up: this is the space that moves you forward.
