Ignite – National Technology Fund, under Ministry of IT and Telecom Pakistan, in partnership with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), has officially opened applications for Pakistani startups to participate in the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) 2025. The event will take place from November 12 to 14, 2025, at Singapore EXPO, marking its 10th edition as the world’s largest FinTech gathering.

The sponsorship program is fully funded by Ignite and TDAP, aiming to provide Pakistan’s most promising FinTech startups with an opportunity to showcase their solutions at a global stage, network with investors, and explore international collaborations. By joining SFF 2025, selected startups will gain exposure to a vibrant ecosystem of innovators, policymakers, and business leaders from across the world.

About Singapore FinTech Festival 2025
SFF has grown into a global benchmark for financial innovation, drawing more than 65,000 participants from over 130 countries annually. The festival features 600+ exhibitors, 200+ global investors, and facilitates more than 20,000 investor–startup meetings. It serves as a unique convergence point for startups, venture capitalists, regulators, and corporations exploring the future of financial technology.

The 2025 edition will highlight emerging trends in payments, digital banking, blockchain, artificial intelligence in financial services, regulatory technology (RegTech), Islamic finance, cybersecurity, lending, and financial inclusion. With global financial hubs turning towards transformative digital solutions, participation in SFF provides startups with unparalleled access to industry leaders and funding opportunities.

Eligibility for Pakistani Startups
The sponsorship is open to startups actively innovating in FinTech, particularly in areas such as:

  • Payments and Digital Banking
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) in finance
  • RegTech and compliance solutions
  • Blockchain and decentralized finance
  • Cybersecurity and fraud prevention
  • Islamic Finance solutions
  • Lending technologies
  • Financial inclusion platforms

Applicants must demonstrate innovation, scalability, and readiness to represent Pakistan’s FinTech ecosystem on an international platform. Startups previously supported for international events by Ignite may not be eligible, as the program seeks to expand opportunities to new ventures.

Application Process
Interested startups are encouraged to apply before the deadline of September 17, 2025. Detailed terms and conditions are available at www.ignite.org.pk/sff2025. Finalists will receive full sponsorship, covering exhibition costs and associated expenses, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder global representation.

Impact for Pakistan’s FinTech Ecosystem
The initiative is part of Ignite and TDAP’s broader vision to integrate Pakistani startups into global innovation ecosystems and attract investment into the country’s digital economy. By providing access to global markets and investor networks, the program seeks to accelerate the growth of FinTech ventures that can address local challenges while scaling internationally.

Participation in SFF 2025 will also highlight Pakistan’s potential in financial innovation, showcasing solutions tailored for emerging markets while connecting local entrepreneurs with global players in financial services. It reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to promote Digital Pakistan and strengthen the startup ecosystem by bridging local talent with international opportunities.

Pakistani startups with groundbreaking financial solutions now have the chance to be part of a global conversation on the future of finance. With Ignite and TDAP’s support, they will represent the country at one of the most influential gatherings in the FinTech calendar.
