Ignite Extends EOI Deadline | Pakistan Venture Fund Pre-Qualification April 2026

Published on

Ignite — National Technology Fund has extended the deadline for submission of Expression of Interest for the pre-qualification of firms seeking to establish and manage the Pakistan Venture Fund, moving the cutoff date to April 23, 2026.

The extension was announced via a corrigendum issued under reference Ignite/EOI-EMC/2025-26/0023/Proc, which relates to the original advertisement published in The News and Express newspapers under Process Identification number 7014/25, dated February 27, 2026. The notice confirms that the date for submission of proposals has been revised from April 6, 2026 to April 23, 2026, while all other terms and conditions of the original expression of interest remain unchanged.

Under the revised timeline, the submission time has been set at 1500 hours, with the opening of proposals scheduled for 1530 hours on April 23, 2026. Interested firms can access the relevant documentation through eprocure.gov.pk, ignite.org.pk/procurement, and ppra.org.pk, the three official procurement portals through which the process is being conducted.

The Pakistan Venture Fund is a government-backed initiative being administered through Ignite, which operates under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication. The fund is designed to stimulate venture capital activity within Pakistan by bringing in professional fund management firms to structure, operate, and deploy capital into the country’s technology and startup ecosystem. The pre-qualification process is intended to shortlist firms with the requisite track record and institutional capacity to manage such a vehicle.

The extension of the expression of interest deadline suggests that Ignite is seeking to widen the pool of respondents, allowing additional firms the time needed to prepare and submit compliant proposals. Procurement-related correspondence and queries can be directed to Ignite’s Head of Procurement at the organisation’s offices located at 3rd Floor, Telecom Foundation Complex, F-7 Mauve Area, G-9/4, Islamabad.
