Ignite Seeks Proposals for Third Party Assessment of Digiskills.pk Program with January 2026 Deadline

Published on

Ignite, a technology innovation and incubation fund operating under the Ministry of IT & Telecom, Government of Pakistan, has officially announced a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified and registered entities to conduct a third party assessment of the Digiskills.pk program. This initiative is designed to evaluate the program’s effectiveness in delivering digital skills training and enabling local talent to contribute meaningfully across diverse sectors including health, energy, agriculture, telecom, and finance.

Established under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017 and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Ignite focuses on leveraging fourth industrial wave technologies to address local challenges while creating opportunities in emerging tech domains. The third party assessment is a critical step in ensuring transparency, program integrity, and measurable impact for Digiskills.pk, a flagship digital skills training platform aimed at equipping Pakistani youth with the necessary tools for success in the digital economy.

Interested bidders must be licensed, well-reputed organizations registered with tax authorities and on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) maintained by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Entities should demonstrate professional management expertise and relevant prior experience as detailed in the RFP documents. The proposal submission deadline is set for January 21, 2026, with sealed envelopes clearly indicating the RFP name to be delivered by 11:00 AM at Ignite’s designated procurement address. Additionally, submitting proposals through the electronic portal EPADs at eprocure.gov.pk is mandatory.

The proposal opening will occur on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives, ensuring a transparent and accountable evaluation process. This initiative is part of Ignite’s broader mandate to foster innovation, support digital skills development, and promote accountability in government-backed programs. The assessment outcomes are expected to provide actionable insights that can enhance program delivery and maximize the socio-economic benefits of Digiskills.pk.

All correspondence and inquiries regarding the RFP should be directed to the Head of Procurement at Ignite – National Technology Fund, located at Telecom Foundation Complex, 7 Mauve Area, G-9/4, Islamabad. Contact details include phone numbers 051-9107441-6 and 0306-1991234, fax 051-9107447, and email procurement@ignite.org.pk.

The RFP documents are accessible through multiple official platforms including eprocure.gov.pk, ignite.org.pk/procurement, and ppra.org.pk, enabling a wide range of qualified entities to participate in this important evaluation process. This step is significant for Pakistan’s evolving digital ecosystem as it strives to equip its workforce with future-ready skills aligned with industry demands.

Through this third party evaluation, Ignite reaffirms its commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and leveraging public-private collaboration to accelerate Pakistan’s technological advancement and digital inclusion goals. Organizations interested in contributing to this transformative journey are encouraged to review the detailed RFP and prepare their submissions promptly to meet the January deadline.
