Innovation & Entrepreneurship Award Offers Financial and Business Support for Tech-Driven Solutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Students, startups, and SMEs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) now have a valuable opportunity to bring their tech-driven ideas to life with the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Award. Supported by USAID Pakistan and implemented by UNDP Pakistan in collaboration with NUST, the award aims to foster innovation in critical sectors such as sustainable energy, digitization, water resource management, AI, food security, climate change, and waste management.

The award provides financial and business support, including mentorship, incubation, and access to industry leaders, helping candidates transform their innovative ideas into successful ventures.

Eligibility for the Award

Eligible applicants include:

  • Undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students with innovative ideas.
  • Early-stage startups based in KP.
  • Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) meeting the State Bank of Pakistan’s criteria and providing 20% self-financing.

Candidates must hold a KP CNIC to apply, and the program strongly encourages applications from women, minorities, people with disabilities, and transgender individuals, promoting inclusivity within the province’s growing innovation landscape.
