KamelPay Founders Join Endeavor Pakistan As Eighth Entrepreneur Team

Published on

KamelPay founders Ehsan Rahman, Saadaat Yaqub Bajwa and Zishan Rahman have joined the Endeavor network as Endeavor Pakistan’s eighth Endeavor Entrepreneur team, marking a recognition of the fintech company’s growth since it was founded in 2021. KamelPay has built a regulated digital banking platform that brings payroll, remittances, payments and other financial services into a single wallet designed for migrant workers across the Gulf Cooperation Council, addressing the financial needs of one of the world’s largest migrant workforce corridors.

The company’s inclusion in the Endeavor network comes at a point when KamelPay is also expanding its regulatory footprint in the region. Backed by licenses from the Central Bank of the UAE, the company has continued to build out its regulated financial infrastructure over recent years. Most recently, KamelPay announced that it is now officially licensed for Stored Value Facility and Retail Payment Services, a milestone the company describes as significant in expanding secure and compliant financial services across the GCC.

The Stored Value Facility and Retail Payment Services licenses allow KamelPay to operate more broadly within the UAE’s regulated financial services framework, giving the company a stronger legal and operational basis for offering wallet based financial products to migrant workers in the country. For a company built around serving a workforce that often faces limited access to formal banking channels, securing these licenses represents a step toward embedding its services more deeply within the region’s regulated financial system rather than operating at its margins.

Endeavor Pakistan’s decision to bring KamelPay’s founding team into its entrepreneur network places the company alongside a small group of Pakistani founders who have been selected to join the global Endeavor community, which provides mentorship, access to networks and other forms of support aimed at helping high potential entrepreneurs scale their ventures. KamelPay becomes the eighth team to join Endeavor Pakistan’s roster of Endeavor Entrepreneurs, reflecting the organisation’s continued interest in founders building regulated financial infrastructure for underserved markets.

KamelPay’s model, which combines payroll, remittances and payments into a single regulated wallet, positions the company within a broader wave of fintech ventures focused on the financial needs of migrant labour corridors, a segment that handles substantial cross border payment volumes but has historically been underserved by traditional banking products. The combination of new regulatory licensing in the UAE and formal recognition from Endeavor Pakistan gives the company both an expanded operational base and access to a wider support network as it continues building out its platform across the GCC.
